Kathleen is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law and is skilled in a range of estate, property, and business matters, including advising on and preparing simple to complicated estate plans, helping form businesses and acquire or sell them, and assisting with property purchases, title search and review, owner financing and landlord/tenant needs, just to name a few.
Kathleen also assists non-profits and small businesses to understand their industry's modern data risks and regulations and to help design and implement information security plans, as well as offering Texas trademark registration assistance and other intellectual property consultation.

Our Attorney
Kathleen is the founder and principal of the Law Office of Kathleen A Mendoza, PLLC, which provides a spectrum of estate planning, estate administration, real estate and small business legal services to clients in the Wimberley Valley and Texas Hill Country region.
Kathleen started her firm in the fall of 2021 and has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas for 19 years. Prior to starting her firm, Kathleen had tenures working at several successful firms, both big and small, in the Austin, Texas area, as well as in Portland, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois before and during law school. Kathleen obtained her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2006, and her B.A. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2001.
Kathleen is passionate in her role as your attorney, and she very much enjoys the opportunity to help clients and provide peace of mind. Kathleen provides clear, detailed analysis and works as your advocate with an emphasis on results. She isn’t afraid to take on complex estate, property and business matters, and she works diligently to provide sound, straightforward and compassionate counsel to clients whether they are starting or maintaining a business, making end of life decisions, or purchasing a property and want to protect their investment.
Kathleen resides in Wimberley, Texas and is wife to husband, Matt, since 2003, and mother of 3 wonderful children, ages 12, 14, and 16. Kathleen is very passionate about her community in the Wimberley Valley and volunteers often, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Christus Santa Rosa Foundation and Start-up Kids Club/Camp Community. When she is not working or volunteering, Kathleen loves to golf, cook, garden, puzzle, play games with her family, and spend time with her 3 hound dogs, Penny (a beagle), Blue Belle (a red bone coonhound), and Big Red (a bloodhound).
